I know I haven't been on here in a while, partly because of things happening on here but mostly because stuff going on in my own life. I've been super busy most of y'all who read my posts know I was planning a wedding, that took up a lot of time and in November I did get married and it was so great and I even got the snow I wanted, and since then ive been busy with holiday stuff, day to day stuff but most recently with my best friend passing away.
She was my best friend for 11 years, one of the first friends I made in high school and we stayed close through a lot. Her fiance committing suicide, my friends passing away in a car crash, serious things like that. She wasn't feeling well and we all just assumed it was a cold since it was toward the end of the year when its super cold. Anyway she spent Christmas in the hospital then beginning of January we found out she had an autoimmune disease that had attacked her liver and her last hope was a liver transplant but she wasn't able to make it through and passed away the 6th. Since then I've been really down and to myself. I'm trying to distract myself and find a way to occupy my time which is one reason I'm back on here. I realize when I'm home alone I'll get way more down and depressed so I want to find a way to channel my time and engergy into something to try to help. So yeah that's some reasons I've been gone and I'm going to try to be back more now.

Hey Cait, I don't know you, but your post really touched my heart. Part of me is so happy that you got married as you wanted to, and I hope you're husband makes you happy and feel the most important woman in his life, on the other hand I am deeply sorry for your friend loss because I have experienced at first hand what it feels like losing a closed friend who even meant like a family member. It is curious that my friend's desease started off as a cold too. Anyway, I know you feel down, but at some point you have to pick yourself up, cause this is not the Cait your friend would like to see, she would like to see a Cait that is strong, pick herself up, and kept going with her life. In fact there's somebody in your life already who is your hubby who needs you too, so the time is now to let things go. Be happy, and welcome back, have fun with us in myLot!

@skydream Anytime. When one is hurt from losing a loved one, it takes time to heal, so feel free to cry when you need it, let it out, and then carry on! It is a pleasure to me to try to be helpful when it comes to situations like this. Take care, see you around!

Babe! Welcome back! Though I wish it was because of other reasons, and not because of feeling depressed when home alone.
You know you can message me on social, or texts, at any time. Even just to send memes or stupid things to keep your mind busy. I'm all for it. Let's do it.
Love you and wish I could give you a huge hug but for now these will have to do.
