Have you ever been (or know anyone) addicted to anything to the point of it becoming a problem?
I have a friend who is addicted to playing video games. He is always updated with the best consoles and the best games, always participating in several championships and often leaving the person and professional life aside.
Sometimes it's sad to see such an intelligent person losing potential for such a silly activity. I mean, I know - from experience - how much playing video games can be fun... But everything in life has limits.

I was addicted to gambling in my late teens but thankfully God helped me get that under control. If I had invested the money I lost I would have been a multi-millionaire.

No one close but I look around at a world obsessed by their cell phones.

Addictions are hard to get over. Sorry for your friend. It is a waste of time and talent to just play video games.
