One January I Will Never Forget

About 9 years ago, I was vacationing in Jamaica (son's wedding) and someone got the bright idea to climb a waterfall. I didn't really want to but a couple on a bus ride back from some shopping excursion told me that it was really easy. The water was really shallow and that I would have no trouble at all! And I believed him. We were told that we would require special shoes... should that gotten a red flag with that, but I was having so much fun and hey... the weather was amazing!! About three seconds into the video I was right back at Dunn Falls. Watching it again... I'm surprised that someone hasn't been hurt. The rush of the water could knock you right off your feet... but at least I can say that I did it... and I was warm!! My only good memory of any January lol!!
Dunn's River Falls is a spectacular waterfall near Ocho Rios, where cold mountain water cascades 1,000 feet (300 meters) down naturally terraced steps. Visit...

It was beautiful, but I'm surprised that it was allowed. But everyone held hands as you climbed, so that you could pull up the person behind you!!

@Hate2Iron It is dangerous anyway, you miss the grab and an accident easily happens.

Now that's a great memory to keep. I would have loved to do it too.
