Fuller House is renewed for its 5th and final season

When I heard the news that Fuller House (running on Netflix) was renewed I was excited. But then I heard that after season 5 it will be no more. I was bummed with this news.
I wonder why they are cancelling the show after season 5. The show was great and resonated with the viewers. It could have easily lasted as long as the original Full House did.
I loved the show and always looked forward to new episodes. Yes, nothing beats the original, but it was still an awesome show.
Supposedly fan are starting a campaign to save the show, and possibly have it be picked up by another network, but I doubt that their efforts will lead to anything. There have been other shows where this was done and it didn't bring the shows back.

Sorry to hear that it is ending after season 5. I also enjoy it and that that it is good family tv. Something we did have a whole lot of these days.

I have not yet got a chance to see the fuller house is it a Netflix original? My favorite show on Netflix would has to be the santa clarita diet Drew berrymore If that in fact how you spell it is to die for. lots of laughs great storyline for an unusual take on zombieism.
