Me growing up a had a big dream of wanting to be a pilot. I really admire this profession I was eager for the future to come early. Out of nowhere, my teacher asked me what I wanted to become in future and I told him a pilot, then he started lecturing me. He went like being a pilot is for the children of rich parents not that of a poor one like myself. He told me it was limited to children whose parents were MP's, doctors and so on. I really felt sad that day and threw away my dream of becoming a pilot. Do you think the teacher should have told me that. Do you again think I shouldn't have told him my dream.

If you had the opportunity to go back in time, punch his face and move on. No teacher should look down on their student's dream. Maybe he's being realistic, but rude.

Why in the world he told you so, he has no right to discourage you from your dream.
