Demon mask

@nomus24g reminded me about the demon masks so for todays post I thought I would share the photo with you all
You can see these masks over the doorways of some houses in India supposedly to ward of evil or bad spirits.
My wife was not too happy when I bought it. She thought it was rather frightful and did not like it at all. I told her it reminded me of her and to think of it as her portrait to ward off evil eyes!

It is a wonder she has put up with me over the years I must admit but then life is too short to be miserable don't you think? Besides the best is yet to come next month she will have me for 24 hours a day when I retire!

@garymarsh6 I get comments like that too. I don't mind as long as they're clever which they mostly are. And I give as good as I get too which I'm sure your wife does.

I am sure she has a good sense of humor. Yesterday we went to Ikea (I needed a few things), we checked out at a self cashier. My husband put back in the car what I bought very well, separating things and keeping everything well aligned. The attendant was looking at him and asked to me "does he always do this? This is wonderful", I replied, "not, it's a pain!"

Yes passed down fears but for us we do not believe but find it quaint. Perhaps these superstitions will phase out over time as more and more people become more educated!
