Sometimes I can't understand my boss

My boss is pretty hard to understand sometimes. She is the type of person that likes things done HER way but will still ask you your opinion... and then tell you you're wrong. Today I was doing an email for a supplier and she told me to run it by her before sending it, while I was showing it to her she said "Say this..." but I missed a couple words and ask for her to repeat, she scoffed at me and said "I don't want you to do it word per word, I'm just giving you the idea" but when I tried to change the wording she snapped at me and said "That's not how I told you to do it" It's frustrating! Sometimes I fear sending an email because I don't know if she will like it or not. What about y'all? How are you bosses like?
