Long Lost Friend...

Over the years I have joined many websites, connecting with many people around the world. The one that I was saddest to see go was just for people who shared a love for the English language, the stories, the meanings. There I made friends with a man from the UK, who was living in Spain and teaching English. We chatted almost every day. Unfortunately, I had a string of bad luck and lost touch with him. Now, all I know was that his handle was howstricks. I'm not a hacker, or anywhere near tech savy enough to even attempt that kind of PI type track down, but I miss my friend so much. I guess I'm hoping that maybe someone sees this and maybe knows Steve. Perhaps we can reconnect, and continue our in depth conversations of the Cheshire cat, the 12 yrs placement, and piggy's island. If you have found such a good friend out there somewhere then you know what I'm talking about. It's a rare thing, and I hate that I've lost it.

I am so so sorry for your loss of your friend. I hope you will find this friend again. I thought I had found someone again but it just did not work out. I saw what the person really is like. Could he be on facebook?

It is sad when we lose online friends for whatever reason. It is also sad when we lose friends from the real world.
