Did anybody watchThe Andy Griffith Show , growing up ?

When i was a kid i watched tv alot born in 1970 one of my favorite shows was Andy Griffin
I would watch it with my mom ..
However the Andy Griffin show still comes on today .. It plays in black and white. The theme song is in whistling.
The show was taped in Raleigh North carolina
When my sister moved to North carolina she ended up moving an hour away from where the show was taped .so my mom got to go take a tour and ride in the cop car used on the show
I still watch the show today it is a very funny family oriented show
The Andy Griffith Show
Andy Taylor is the widower sheriff of the small, sleepy North Carolina town of Mayberry. Andy and son Opie live with Aunt Bee, who takes care of the family. Andy's deputy is his bumbling but neurotically hilarious cousin, Barney Fife. Among Andy's Mayberry friends is the town's resident barber, Floyd.

oh i know. i watched some as a teen with my mom and later with my kids and now at 71 yrs. i had time to watch all seasons on either Hulu or Netflix i can't remember now as it was a while back i was done with watching every episode ever made. and amazingly it is still quite funny and heart warming.

@Nana49 it has me too. great plan. when i had it marked on my streaming channel of Netflix, i would watch it before sleep every night to relax more

It was one of the shows that I regularly watched. Most of the shows in that era were family oriented and light, clean comedy.

Never saw this sorry as it was never shown where I was in England.
We did get to see Lucille Ball a few times though and other series that were shown.

I like to watch the old black and white tv shows. Here we have a channel called antenna tv. It plays Andy Griffith and also many others like Bewitched, I dream of Jeannie and Greenacres. Also another one I can't think of the name, it has the two cousins that look exactly alike. Identical cousins is the tune of the theme song. Do you know this one? It is going to bother me until I can think of it.
