Up and At ‘Em

Hubs and I went to the gym very, very early. When we returned home, I opened the blinds and did a double take. Look at the clouds reflected on the still water! We showered and went out to breakfast with my brother and his friend, who is staying with him for a few days. His wife is home in Connecticut at work. Later, we will be playing 9 holes of golf. The weather is perfect and the water is back to being waves and is twinkling. What do you do when you first wake up? I first say my prayers, make the bed, and wash and dress for exercise!

I step out to my desk, check my bp and blood sugar. I try to remember to pray for all the people I have promised and start my internet day. I will not have my full breakfast until Bob is up for the day, but I will have coffee and something protein while I wait. When it warms up I will start my morning outdoors.

Usually open all the windows and let the fresh air in and make a bit of breakfast. That is a wonderful view you have there how lovely.

That’s what I used to do, too, but I walked first thing every day before work for 15 years. I go to the gym about 3 times a week, usually Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Great photo! I used to love waking up and watching the sunrise when I lived in south Florida. Seeing the sun come up over the ocean was always a treat. Now, I go to work so early in the morning that it is still dark out when I leave the house.

Oh, definitely! First things first. I have to feed Doodles or if my husband beats me to it, I have to take him for a walk before I can go on my own walk. And then walk him again as soon as I get home.

@DianneN I wish Sophie would go out and walk with me but she doesn't. I guess it is you teach them young to do things. I did not even think about it. I ask her if she want to jog with me or jog here but she does not answer so I take it as a no.

That's my last when I'm in CT unless my husband is up first. Then my task is to take Doodles for a walk before I go on mine. He waits at the foot of the stairs for me. lol

Me, I say my prayers. After which I exercise. Then, drink two glasses of lukewarm water and take a bath, do my make-up and eat breakfast. After that dress. So far, we have the same routine.

The clouds reflecting on the water is amazing! My day starts off similar. First I thank God for another day, make the bed, shower, dress and then come downstairs and put on the coffee and check into myLot.

Lovely photo! Way to go, getting the gym out of the way early. I get up, do my morning chores (get dressed, brush hair, teeth, etc) Make coffee make breakfast, pray and eat

That looks amazing - so fresh and bright. When I first get up I take my dogs in the garden and then have my own breakfast before feeding my dogs.

I have the same routine when i wake up except the exercise thing. Am too lazy to do that. Friday to sunday morning, i do two hours of walk at least under the sun, so that i consider as exercise.

I first am glad I woke up another day!! No exercise--bad for you! (LOL) Being surrounded by water I see scenes like that everyday only at sunset as I am NOT a morning person!

I pray, wait to get in the bathroom, straighten my bed and then take my vitamins and supplements and taking etra on a couple to keep from getting what evryone else has had for over a week and it is doing a good job
