I have to have a lamp near me, as it is quite dark around my Computer area without one. If we move next yr. like we want too, I will probably not need one then, as I will have my own Room for my Computer, etc.

Sometimes when i draw i use table lamps because i need to move the light in different ways to lose the shadows ! When i study other things i use room light !

Yes, oftenly because I wont study at night much so there is no need to switch on the lamp in mornings or afternoos, when there's my exams are near I do use my lamp to study!

Yes, I'm using a table lamp when I'm studying at night. I'm using it because I'm a student and I have other 4 students in the room and I don't want to disturb them when they are sleeping. When I'm siting at my computer I don't use any table lamps because I don't see the use of it. I can see the keyboard from the light produce from the monitor.

When i sit on my computer I use the light from my window in the day time. But in the evening when it gets dark, I use the room light.The room light is much more brighter than the table lamp that i have.

i use room light. i find it hard to concentrate on my work if the light is dim.

I Study in A Room Light

May I answer all of the above? :) I use the overhead light and lamps at the same time. For some reason, when I read, study, or work, I need a lot of really bright light.

I use room light, but at night time I feel that a table lamp would help. When I have a lot to read and the text isn't large, a mgnifying glass would be great too.

I don't really have a need to study right now. However, if I am on the computer I just use the light from outside. My computer desk is right next to the window in my bedroom. If it is dark outside then I sit in the dark. I was raised that way. Do not turn a light on unless it is absolutely necessary my mom always said. I think we were just trying to save money. My husband will come into the room and roll his eyes, then he will flip the light on which drives me crazy. I don't say anything to him though, I know it is just a crazy obsession of mine so I don't punish him for it.
