i have been married for 26yrs it hasn`t been an easy path but i`m glad i took it we have five children the youngest 15 . yes there have been problems in that time and we have got through them we are still here together .communication between each other is the most important, and you need a lot of patience an awful lot, you need to know when it`s better to bite your tongue and not say anything .you need to have your own space and to remember to give your partener theres there will be so many obsticles in your path take each one and share it with your partener.if you have taken this path all the best to you and i hope you can over come any problems you encounter on your journey

I had a trouble in my past marriage.I was abused physically and mentally by my ex-husband.He was also a racist and he liked to make a fun of people who cannot speak English well like me.
I seeked for help and this councelor told us that we need to seek for a help at marriage couceling and my ex said I am the only reason why our marriage hasn't been normal. He said if I was a good woman then he doesn't need to get mad or so.
I've got divorced.I am happy to be going to a different life without him.I don't want to deal with a guy like him anymore.
Our marriage didn't work out but I also couldn't stay with him any longer.

I understand where your coming from.. no one has to put up with anyone who has no respect for them. Sad really... good thing you seen what was going on and got out! Good luck to you!

learn to say f it and walk away... when things seem to have passed then carry on.... Most people hang in there and fight it out and I have found that some times it is better just to leave and come back...
I have been lucky though the wife and I hardly ever have any problems... I wish everyone else well on there marriage

Thats great if you can share more with your partner. I find most discussions and problems seem to come in with raising children and money.
