Have you ever heard of a Million Dollar Pie? From the first minute I saw one I wanted to know the who, what, where, and when of it. Unfortunately I never really found out any information, not even where it got it's name. A million dollar pie is a pie made with a graham cracker crust and unbaked. Basically it is made with whip cream, condensed milk, canned fruits, and possibly walnuts. I found a lot of recipes for this wonderful confection on the internet by googling million dollar pie recipes. I have tried a few and the pie is incredibly easy to make and absolutely delicious. I have make it for company many times in the past few years and everyone seems to love it. It is a pie worth looking into.

I had it the first time a few years ago at Christmas dinner at my niece's. I had never heard of it before then.

I've never heard of it before ..... it looks way too sweet for me, I'd rather have flan for dessert if I'm in the mood for sweets.

It is sweet. Sometimes I have a sweet tooth but because I can make it with no sugar or low sugar I can satisfy it.

It is extremely easy to make but my friends and family did not like it a lot. I am obliged to bake.

@HazySue I usually make no bake cheesecake when it's hot, or ice cream pies.

One of the things I like about it is that you can use lower sugar or no sugar items in it.

I think of it sort of like an ambrosia. You can serve the pie filling in a bowl.
