Mindful Attractions

Have you ever had someone you just can't stop thinking about? It's been four days now, and I think about this person nonstop. I am too shy to say anything though, gossip flies fast around here, and I'm also still reeling from the sudden break away from my current relationship. I'm not trying to start a new romance, but it certainly feels nice to be noticed. He is a diagnosed schizophrenic, and I am bipolar. But together we are like two kids in a candy store. It's nice, it's simple. When we were kids, all we wanted to do is grow up. And now that we are grown, what we wouldn't give to be young again. I am a kid at heart, and I bring that out in people. He said I make him feel like a four year old. I'm not sure how to take that. It's certainly not romantic. Do any of you have a loved one that suffers from mental illness?

It's good if you can just enjoy each other's company for the moment without perhaps getting too involved.

We sat down and talked last night and agreed to just take it day by day. Neither one of us wants to move too fast so as to sacrifice the friendship.

@starflye78 you are right you need to know each other, you know, there must be some reason why you two have met each other.

I have a nephew who is schizophrenic. Glad you found somebody you enjoy spending time with. It is good for both of you.
