“Strange days have found us
Strange days have tracked us down
They’re going to destroy
Our casual joys
We shall go on playing
Or find a new town”
Was not every day a strange day for Jim Morrison who was inspired to write this song when in New York City. Not released as a single, “Strange Days” served as title track for the platinum album that peaked at Billboard #3. The song is so typical Doors with Morrison’s almost mournful voice and Ray Manzarek employing Moog synthasizer. “Strange Days” is trippy 60s.

It probably was indeed. We may not approve of his life, but there is no denying he did it "his way."

I am so, so shocked. I didn't see this one coming at all. Where did this one come from?
(For those of you not familiar with John and me and our banter: this is sarcasm.)
