At what age did you buy your first home.

When I bought my first home married then my age was around thirty five I got a VA loan and been approved. The second home here at the school house was in my early fifties. Buying a home by age 35 is worth it now and later. Photo online.

We were 28 when we bought our first home. It was a frame house in town, but had a very nice deep yard. We lived there for about 5 years before we moved to the nice brick home in the rural village that we lived in for over 20 years. We both loved the layout of that house.

My friends say that in america and canada and other countries, it’s better to rent than to own a house because of taxes, so thats good John.

I was 35 when I bought my first home. My ex-boyfriend and I lived in rented apartments and my husband and I also rented a place in the beginning, but two years after we got married we bought our first home.

@amadeo I also think that it was the right time. I am glad that my ex and I didn't buy a house, because we broke up and it was nice that we didn't have to worry about selling a house.

We bought our home when I was 48. When we lived in Monte Carlo the apartments were too much expensive. We decided to buy here in Switzerland to have the house ready for the day we would have retired.

@amadeo So true, we moved here to stay 10 years ago. The previous years we came here only to spend some days a few times a year.

That depends on your definition of 'home'. I bought my tiny boat with my life savings when I was 22. Bought my first house with a mortgage when I was 36.

@amadeo 6 feet wide, 20 feet long. It would easily fit three times over into our current kitchen!

I’m 30 and we still haven’t bought our own house. It’s too expensive were we live so it’s not affordable unless you have a very very good job. We are trying to save up for a house most likely we will inhiret a house before buying oneZ

@amadeo yes and how much it costs depends on where you live. If we move back out to the country again we could easily afford a house thst has 5 bedrooms. Right now we technically rent my husband’s grandparents house. We pay for most of the bills on this summer we took over water finally after 5 years of not. We do the electrical, water, Internet.
