15 bags- Also...I found out I am an angel ;)

Today I have filled up 15 kitchen sized trash bags for donation! This is in addition to upwards of 20 bags I got rid of this weekend. This cleanse of my home feels so nice. I am enjoying turning our home into a more tidy and less overwhelming place. Our home is huge so lots of places to put things, which means lots of places to declutter!!
I donated the load this weekend to a family whom is raising 5 children from foster care and the elderly man told me I was an angel :)
That was a wondereful feeling. So much better than just throwing it into the dumpster and wasting the items that did not bring us joy anymore!

I really wanted to get rid of some stuff that I don't need as well... Where do you donate those?
I was thinking of donating them but I need some funds for a project. But I think i'll reconsider

I donate to people I know could use the items, if I cant find someone to donate to I will donate to local resale stores.

That's very kind and helpful of you to do this! I donate to local Savers and other companies that pick up donations. When I'm decluttering I put things for sale too at letgo.com and have sold stuff this year! It's always a good idea to donate always or giveaway. You know our neighborhood has a monthly bulky item pick up. Like the American Pickers, I found chairs hardly used just sitting outside waiting for the pickup so I brought them home and saved lots of money!

I am sure you have brought that family those people much joy.. I grew up.on hammy downs from my aunts and uncles and we Appreciated it so very much i still shop.at good will and i donate as well or like you give to someone else in need ..i hope God blesses you ..
I like to declutter ..i do it quite often .. Because i accumulate so.much stuff as well ..

I also enjoy thrift shopping but I am picky so many times we will leave with nothing. Still fun to rummage through it all.
