What Age Did Your Baby Start Eating Infant Cereal?

Doctors say wait until they are 6 months old before giving babies infant cereal. But for me, if I added enough liquid my boys were able to eat it at 4 months. I do know some people that give it to their kids younger than 4 months. In my opinion that's not safe. But what about you what age did you start giving your baby cereal?

It is not something that should solely depend on age, the baby needs to be able to swallow it. Some can do it with 4 months, others with 6 months and others later or earlier. We started with veggies instead of breakfast/dinner cereals when they were 5 months old.
