Looking forward to the weekend

My troubled friend checked himself into the mental hospital last night. I miss him terribly, but I am going to try and stay busy this weekend so the time goes by fast. He should be back Monday, the norm is 72 hours, although he definitely is more conflicted than anyone I have ever met. You would think two people as crazy as us would be destructive together, but somehow God has given us gifts that work together to bring light to this dark, dark world. Bright spots on a cloudy day. Today is beautiful and sunny, and I am at peace with my path that God has put me on. I am excited for the future for the first time in a long time. Plus we are allowed back in the dorms on the weekends, so I am looking forward to an afternoon nap. Today I am going to try and be productive. So far I am not doing well, although I did make a suggestion box for my makeshift office. No suggestions yet.
