Okay... No one here is swimming in money, that's a fact.
However, in your life, I believe you have already lent your money to someone (be it your family, a friend, a neighbor, a girlfriend, or a boyfriend), right?
How do you deal when someone asks you for money? And... In what situations do you usually do this?

There are a least a few members on here who are swimming in money. I wouldn't lend money. I would give it.

I did a couple of times but not anymore. If I cant afford to count it as a gift, they dont get it.

No, I don't lend money-I give it and trust God to provide for all of my needs. Which He does.

I don't believe in lending money to anyone. If someone needs help and I am able to help, then I do that. If I can't afford to help them financially, I will try to think of other options to help them with.

I lend money when I have some to spare and most importantly to broaden my memory because you cannot forget the amount you gave out, to whom, when and why.

So far I only lent some money to my family member specifically my sister, on a few occasions. One when I had excess money i initiated the lending, for some profit. But she was not able to return the capital which is a large amount due to some financial disasters. And then the other times I had to lend more money to her was to pay for our family's utilities.. these are monies that have no guarantee she will ever be able to return.
