Friday, the day of media revelations

It is well known, the traditional media are hiding us many things. Was it the Spring weather we have in France now which decided them to speak ? Last Friday we got these important revelations : - we learned that a mayor who died last year on November 11th in Nancy, died in good company : he was with two Chinese prostitutes. This mayor had decided to commemorate worthily the 100th anniversary of the WW1 armistice ! But he missed the celebration in his commune, and his worried wife called the police who located the phone of the mayor and found him dead. Morality : if you want privacy, leave your phone at home. Wait a minute, I am thinking at something : Donald Trump was in Paris on November 11th, and instead of going to the celebration, he went to his hotel room... Hmm, it cannot be anything else than a coincidence. - an investigation has been launched last month on the 74 years old apostolic nuncio in France after a young executive at the Paris city hall lodged a complaint because His Eminence groped his butt during an official reception. The only national Catholic newspaper we have in this country, «La Croix», decided to publish an article on the case, telling that it had received many testimonies about the wandering hands of the nuncio. A young man complaining during another reception was told : «Oh, it is the nuncio, everybody knows that, no reason to make a fuss about it.» No, I was not knowing that, but His Eminence having a diplomatic passport, nothing can be done to stop him to be handsy. Some important revelations in your media recently ?

You know that I do not believe in coincidence. I remember he was in Paris and he went to the hotel because "it rained". Wandering hands are very annoying. The best to do is to grab the hand of the offender, in public, and keep it firmly pulling toward you so that everyone can see the offender.

Only Pedro Sánchez presenting himself as the Lone Ranger in Elections for April this year. How boring can things get? Your news is much more lighthearted at least for me it is original to say the least. Of course he is always right and no one else ever is.

You have elections in April before the EU elections ? The Lone Ranger has a chance to win ?

@topffer To tell the truth I don´t know if he can win as there just seems to be one big mess of it all. For as much as you try to make some sense out of it it does not really get you anywhere. They are all bad mouthing each other as usual and that is not for me to sit through hours of explanations that tell you nothing more than what you already knew really. Puigdemont is being hailed by some in Catalunya as a hero huh? I cannot vote for such kind of people. I prefer the Lone Ranger from before when I was small he was honest and forthright and not like this one acting as if he is the unsung hero of all of us God forbid.

@lovinangelsinstead21 If Puigdemont is a hero, Catalans have a curious idea of heroes. Puigpuig makes me think at a French minister who said in a speech just before WW2 "Armons nous et partez !", let us arm ourselves and you go !

I had not heard about that mayor but oh my - that is a weird coincidence. I don't know what exactly Trump was doing then, but certainly he could pay people off (it's not like he hasn't before ). The wandering hands of the nuncio - even with testimonies it's sad what they have gotten away with all these years and apparently still do.

If I was Trump, I would hire a double to represent me in these kinds of events. His image would improve. This newspaper should have published that before, it is too easy to speak about the testimonies they had collected after a complaint was lodged and made public. Well, now young diplomats know that they should better wear underwear in steel during official receptions to escape to the hands of the nuncio.

We have strong laws to protect privacy in my country, so it is not sure for the first case, but it is sure that they treated here differently the apostolic nuncio ; if it had been a basic priest, the news would have been in the newspapers the day following the complaint.

I can't think of any at the moment but it was on the news that one one-time cardinal has now been sent on his way for abuse.

I heard that too. Maybe is it time for the nuncio in Paris to retire, there are not a lot of 74 years old active diplomats.

I have been reading lots lately about how loving husbands arranged for their wives to be killed (or in the end, just doing the horrible deeds themselves). I read about how some mothers let their lovers torturing their young children. I am still shocked about a young and pretty Mexican mother who got kidnapped and had her head chopped off when the husband refused to pay the ransom. ETC (talking about the everlasting love!!!)

Wow, where are you reading news like that ? We had a tabloid with catching titles that often made me laugh when I was reading them on newsstands. I remember : "Drama of self defense : he shot at a burglar and killed his wife" and "His wife was cheating on him with the dog, he killed it".

@YrNemo I never read this kind of news, it is too depressing. Fortunately, such crimes are rare, the average human is not that bad.
