I have eclectic type of music (from classical to rock n roll to gospel to anything). Do you have any suggestions that you would like me to listen to? :) As of the moment, I am very fond of the Ancient Chinese instrumentals - - makes me relax especially whenever I have anxiety attacks. (Example: )

I have many songs I love, especially when a song is remade and it's great. Sound of silence is a great song that Disturbed redid.

I really love Simon & Garfunkel's songs. Though I Am a Rock is the saddest song for me (and my fave from S&G), Sound of Silence is hauntingly beautiful. Disturbed really did a great revision of it :)

I too, have very eclectic tastes in music. It's funny though. These days I like oldies, older oldies than me in many cases, and that's old. When I sing Karaoke, My standards are "Runaround Sue" by Dion, and, Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison, (not older than me, but old). I love music from the sixties and fifties. Bopper Music, that I didn't much listen to when it was age appropriate. I was more of a psychedelic guy in the sixties. I'm not gay, but I love Bette Midler from the seventies and eighties. I love big band music. I love the old crooners from the forties. I'm nuts about flaminco guitar. Otmar Leibert, Gypsy Kings, Ry Rooter's, (starts with C, stupid algorythm won't let me post real name.) work down in Cuba, i.e. Buena Vista Social Club. Chet Baker is incredible, I'll tell Alexa to play Chet Baker, when I'm sleeping. It's wonderful to sleep to. Interesting topic. If i don' stop writing now, I'll never shut up.

@YawinaRada Dion is a little after Chuck Berry. His last song, long after Run Around Sue, was Abraham Martin and John. He's required music if you're Italian. I am not of Italian decent however. I agree with you on the Morrison songs, TB Sheets deserves mention with them, and his concert rendition of Just Like A Woman. A song I love to listen to, and sing along with, even though I don't speak spanish, is Vicki Carr's version of Cuando De La Sol. Check out Chet Baker's, How Deep Is the Ocean, and My Funny Valentine. Thanks for the feedback.

Wow, thank you for the songs / artists. I've never heard any of Dion's songs before (a pity). Is he the in the same time frame (haha) with Chuck Berry? With Van Morrison? I love his "Someone like you" and "Into the Mystic" (I don't know why I find the song sexy haha). Is Bette Midler the singer of "From a Distance" and "Wind Beneath My Wings"? In psychedelic music, aside from The Beatles, I love Jefferson Airplane (Grace Slick's hot). Though I was born in the late 1980s, I am fond watching Woodstock '69 :) Thank you for the flaminco guitar artists that you've mentioned. It's been ages since I've listened to this type of music. I noticed though, that during the 40s - 60s (unsure of the timeline), the movies back then had a touch of Hispanic music on their repertoire. (ex. Bathing Beauty movie). And then I remember Astrud Gilberto (my parents have a cassette tape of her album haha). I'm not familiar with Chet Baker but then I listened to some of his works and I was like "Oh so he's the one who played that one...". Crooners from the forites... Hmm... does Patsy Cline count? (I really really love her). I'll listen to Bopper Music later :)

Though we have Spanish loan words, I still don't speak nor understand the language hehe. But I like listening to any type of music. The Spanish song that I always listen to during my melancholic moments is "Yo Te Amo" by Chayanne. It was also translated to Mandarin and sung by F4 in the early 2000s :)

I listen to music from the softest to the heaviest of genres... You might want to listen to ambient music... there are many sub-genres in ambient music. Still, from light to heavy... lol... you might want to separate your tags using comma... Have a great myLot-ing day!
