Weird Things that sell on Ebay

Funny Ebay Auction, real ghost
Germany
February 18, 2019 2:19am CST
I have been actively selling and buying on Ebay since 1996 and boy, did I see weird things. Jesus' face on toasted bread is just the tip of the iceberg. Wifi cables, empty "new folder" on a disc (sold one myself!) and souls... Been there, seen that. I have just sold one empty iPhone 8 box. Just the box, without any iPhone and without any content, JUST THE BOX. For someone who wants to sell his iPhone 8 and having the original box as packaging does increase the phone's value Funny, stupid, you name it... Anything noteworthy that you do remember from Ebay?

Stupid the one who should buy, because if this seller arrives to sell an empty box for $38 it's a good return on the investment (the box).

I don't go on Ebay but I'm glad to know where I can get wifi cables in case I need them.

Someone tried to sell his soul on there, and someone else offered literally nothing. - Both got lots of bids before Ebay stopped the transactions

Weird. I can't recall anything I've seen personally, but I have heard of some things. Wouldn't need Jesus' face on toast, I plan to see it in person one day. If I recall, I remember something about someone selling one of Elvis' toenails from off of the bathroom floor at Graceland? Eew.

You just never know what people will actually buy. We sold a complete set of Encyclopedias years ago and they were really old at the time. Not valuable vintage old, just old and outdated. I couldn't believe when someone bought them and paid a lot to have them shipped since they were so heavy.

Oh wow, usually those kind of books never sell. We tried once and donated them later.

There are some really stoopid people out there. Like those that leave a negative response for an item costing around 2 dollars because it broke or was 'bad quality' and 'didn't work. Lots of those.

I remember trying to get a head light on Ebay. Every time I bid another unknown person bid higher until the asking price had about tripled so I backed out of the deal as the other person would always counter my bid until the price got way out of reason. It used to be like that but now they have some items with set prices.

Not really but we have a mould affair that you push into bread and once it's toasted an image of the Virgin Mary comes up. We have fooled a friend or two with it.
