What does happiness mean to you?

I've been thinking about happiness today and now I'm curious what does it mean for you?
What does make you happy?
Are you happy because you have something or will you be happy if you have something.
Do we pretend to be happy when we're actually not?
Do you think materialism is connected with happiness?
Do you think money can buy it?
I'm looking forward to hear your opinions. :)

Possessions can make us "happy" for a little while, but true joy comes from knowing God's Son, Jesus Christ. He gives us peace in the middle of the storms of life.

Living in my van and traveling while living simply makes me happy. Nothing outside of ourselves can make us happy. It has to come from inside of you first.

Happines to me means to be content, not wanting or needing anything and having no worries.

Being materialistic in this world and having money can definitely buy you happiness. But if you don't have peace it's short-lived.

At this very moment, I think my happiness would be to get more vacation time while not having to worry about money and not having to worry too much about the future. Right, happiness for me today would be more leisure time or more time off from the things that NEED to be done, ie job and others, to just rest and probably have time to do the things I want to do just to think and recharge
