Some even mislabel it as being protective of something or someone, when the fact is, it's really simply possessive jealousy itself; and many feel they don't possess effective strategies for coping with this form of jealousy. I don't think either of them has the right to hit each other. If a woman hits a man she is just as wrong as if a man were to hit a women.
