After Moymoy (monkey) was satisfied with his back rub i finally get the chance to explore my garden and was surprised to find a hidden treasure by the old log. "Mushroom" ancient chinese make alternative medicine out of this. Why i consider this find a treasure, well to be honest it is a ganoderma mushroom by the look of this i think this bad boy is a Lengzhi this made me so excited even more cause ones you clean and dried it, pulverized and mix it into your coffee and instant a healthy cup was infront of me. I love coffee so i must find a better way to make it even healthier. Have you tried mushroom hunting? What kind of mushroom you usually found in your place?

@BridgetThompson if any animals urinated on the log it is a 100% poisonous that is why i always check if there is an animal dung around lying near the log

@BridgetThompson no. They are edible here. We actually cook them. It is an expensive delicacy here as they are rarely seen-the small mushrooms growing on the tree

That is a nice idea. I am growing a variety of mushroom called oysters mushroom and now i am thinking of adding rice straw mushroom also known as Volvariella volvacea.

I have always wanted to try foraging but I am kind if terrified that I will not be able to identify it properly and I may poison myself!
