I don’t want to be rich .... just comfortable

Payday is fast approaching, and I love it because I see money in my account.... but it’s never there for long. Every direct debit I have for bills, all come out within two weeks of me getting paid, once they have come out well, I’m left with nothing and then it’s the wait for next months wage. It depresses me, but I know I should be grateful for everything I have, because some people don’t have that. I just wish that I could have some money left over or some money that could be put in my savings for things like car repairs or things in the house that need replacing. I just feel like it’s an endless battle. Maybe I need to change my job find something that pays more or do two jobs... only problem is finding someone to take care of my 10 yr old. Anyone else in a similar situation?

We pretty much live pay check to pay check it’s not as bad as it use to be it’s mroe amangable. We have upped a bit over the years. Husband is out of work because of an injury so money is a bit tighter. We spend most of this week with no money because workers comp didn’t come in till yesterday and won’t be released till tomorrow

There is a popular saying - Expenditure rises to meet income. One must have enough money to live comfortably and I too believe that becoming too rich is not something with what one can live happily.

To have money to use and food to eat and healthy body are good to have to be rich in life.

I guess it must be really hard to apply for a second job when you have a kid to take care of. Maybe you can do it once your child is a little older. I hope you can achieve all your goals, in the meantime let's be grateful for every single positive thing that happens in our lives. Good luck!
