Are people very selfish?

Is it my idea or people are very selfish? Even families don't have a good relationship. No one wants to hear my problems when I talk to my family. Online friends talk to me only when they need something. People are so mean many times. Therapists want money. They don't want to help. They just want to help themselves. Do you agree with me? Are people very selfish?

@dya80dya In the 29 years of my life I have come in contact with thousands of people.Some of them were very selfish and some were selfless.There are all kinds of people in this world.

@dya80dya One thing that I have noticed is that there are more selfish people than the selfless ones in the world.

i dunno if'n they're selfish 'r jest 't a loss 'emselves. lots 'f low-self esteem runnin' all o'er the globe. many 're jest takers, they've ne'er learnt to be givers.
yep, therapists with lots 'f money 'n sadly takes goin' through many to find one who's actually any help 't all.
then 'gain, i'm uncertain 'f what'cha seek regardin' yer troubles - 'r what sort'a troubles ya've got. perhaps seek out a free support group'n yer area? volunteer'n help out'n yer community. sounds a tad corny, but 'tis actually purty good therapy. the bonus bein' ya get to meet lots 'f good, genuine folks'n the process.
