Do you ever visit MyLot before you check your email?

This morning, when I awoke and stumbled to my computer to see if the rest of the world was still here, the first thing that came up was MyLot, so I started commenting away while brewing up my first cup of coffee.
After looking for Gatorade in the dishwasher (I'll explain that one later), I decided it was safest just to keep commenting until I had some coffee in my system. Usually I think I check my email first, but this morning, it was MyLot first.
Do you have a usual order in which you do your first computer stuff of the day? I think my norm is email, MyLot, check my YouTube songs (I'm up to 69 followers--woo hoo!), and then other stuff. Sometimes I do on-line banking to make sure Barrister Mbalo hasn't taken all of my savings back to Nigeria.

Well since last many months, mylot is my companion at the morning milk tea (not a very good habit and partially influenced by the British Raj traditions!), except for a few days.

i prone to goin' months'n end without checkin' my email. which then leads to several hours committed to cleanin' such out. giggled o'er the gatorade/dishwasher thingy. i don't use my dishwasher neither 'n do store schtuff'n there :)

Email is way down on the list and not daily. 99% of mine is spam, so legit messages tend to get missed. MyLot's lots closer to the top. I check in on FB to see what my kids are doing, but even they don't post like they used to. Hopefully FB's on its way out. PS What's with the Gatorade?

Heh heh. I'll save th Gatorade thing for when I do a post on semi-senior moments, or on cognition in general. I think it will get more views if I frame it in terms of senior moments. Basically, I went, bleary-eyed, from my computer to the kitchen for a sip of Gatorade. I turned left in the kitchen and opened the dishwasher. Why? Hint: My refrigerator FACES my dishwasher and I keep my Gatorade in the door. Does this make sense?

I usually check mylot or facebook first thing when I wake - by phone. Then I check both, as well as my other social media and email - also by phone, off and on throughout the day.

I always start with my Bing searches so I don't forget them. They pay you to do searches, it's not much but it adds up over time. Then I just go wherever the day takes me.

@TheHorse It's not much. But like I said, it adds up. You can get a lot of different things but I always get Amazon $5 gift certificates---They send you a code and you put it in your Amazon account and it shows up as a credit. You don't have to spend it right away---they are 5,200 points. Since I started doing bing Rewards, my lifetime total is 403,720 points. Right now, I have almost 100,000 points I haven't cashed in yet, so that's about $100, well less but I round like that to keep from doing all the math. You get about 10,000 points a month if you do all the searches and grab all the bonus points.

I usually check my msn homepage first to see if we have went to war yet. Then e-mail and fb. I save mylot for last and take my time and enjoy myself.
