If you've ever seen the Geico commercial with the camel you just might know the day of these next song selections. That's right it's "hump day." And to steer you in the right direction is a Johnny Cash video I discovered on You Tube, which puts a positive spin on this day of the week. So, enjoy the music video as you figure out the clues. Whodunnit? Do You know these songs and artists? 1. This folk-rock duo originated in Queens, NY, and were part of the counterculture's cultural revolution along with other icons like The Beatles and Bob Dylan. This track was off the duo's first studio album which was unsuccessful. The album was re-released after one cut from the LP, called "Sound of Silence," received successful radio play. Part of the song's title contains the"time of day" . This tune was also the name of the album. The duo initially went by the moniker "Tom & Jerry." 2. This female American singer-songwriter, producer, touring artist, actress, author, and philanthropist, started her career with a platinum-selling number 1 hit song. The tune was featured on the film Reality Bites. The song is about a girl waiting for that time of the month (menstruation) to begin, to find out if she's gotten pregnant. She's in a bad relationship and is waiting to find out to tell her boyfriend, but by the end of the song, she decides that she'll leave him either way. This tune is the highest ranking song on the Hot 100 charts for this day of the week. Bonus: The Johnny Cash video mentions a particular day of the week when it's the worst day for the factory workers to make your car. Many lemons are manufactured on this day. Do you remember which day it was? If not replay the video, lol. Well, that concludes another "Day In The Life" of another trivia quiz... If your stuck and need additional help just let me know in your response. "Reach Out and I'll Be There" if more clues are needed. As always, thanks for reading and responding to my music post !!!! 1) Simon and Garfunkel / The title is something like Wednesday Morning 3 AM I think that's it! 2) Is it Thursday's Child or Friday's Child? Can't think of the singer's name. Bonus) I would guess Friday?
