Many places around the world have their own local rock and gem shows every year. The most popular one here in BC, Canada is the Vancouver Rock and Gem Show, but I have not been to that one. Where I live, in a lovely place called Maple Ridge, they held the local Rock and Gem Show at a heritage hall about 15 minutes from my house.
The photos above were taken by me - on the left are photos from the rock and gem show, on the right are the lovely pieces I brought home with me.
All the purple are amethyst except for the two oval shaped ones which are Lepidolite from Madagascar. The biggest amethyst points are super seven amethyst which also contains citrine. The necklace charm is grape agate. The pinkish ones near the bottom left are pink agate, goldy ones are golden calcite although they really look like citrine to me... two super tiny agate geodes, green aventurine, clear quartz point next to a smokey quartz point, the dark heart is labradorite, and the blue stone is blue aventurine...
Have you ever gone to a rock and gem show?
I want to start using crystals and gems more in my personal healing journey.

Yes, I visited some, but I do not know almost nothing about the rocks. But they look nice. In any case, nice and interesting

It's very fun to research the different properties of the types of gems and stones.

@MissNikki Sure!! I used to collect sea shells I have a lot of shells, of various sizes. I even bought books about shells, to find out more and learn about them. So I understand you

@MissNikki If we lived closer, I would love to give you some gem / crystal items I have. I bought a lot over eBay and wanting to sell them for a bit more. I bought silver chains so then I can make then into necklaces. In fact that heart you have up their in your photos is like what I have but I'm guessing mine are a bit smaller.
I haven't been to a rock and gem show before but I would like to. Would be fun to look around to see everything.

@MissNikki I think I will just make them into necklaces and hopefully sell them like that.
I hope I can make a bit for them. A lot of money would come in handy right now.
And I could show you photos if you like?

Oh, I would love to see them. Are you going to make the necklaces or just sell the supplies with the crystals? I bet you could get a lot for them on ebay or etsy for the handmade jewelry.

@MissNikki I fully agree, it reminds me the candies I had when I was a kid.

I was very taken by the golden calcite as well - it almost looks like some kind of candy!

I would love to be able to go and obtain an amethyst myself from Brazil! Amethyst is my favorite. Sellers usually say they are from Brazil or Madagascar but you never really know where it is coming from. That is so cool! Would love to see a pic some time.

@MissNikki Would you believe we have it stashed in our attic somewhere?

@DianneN Go dig it out!! LoL. Just kidding. Trust me, I know I have some treasures stashed away here too. Sometimes there isn't a right place for everything.

I love rocks and gems! Great photo. People do say there are healing energies in stones, … I'm not sure how it works exactly but I would believe it
