When you post a discussion and members' responses begin to surface, it's normal for long, medium, or short answers to appear... Right?
But, in general (for some people), the answers are shorter that usually make a bad impression. What do you think about it?
Particularly speaking, I think if the answer (for any kind of question) goes straight to the point... There is no reason to prolong it because you've said enough.

A response should have a meaning, no matter what its length.

If a question is asked, and it take a couple of words to answer, that should be enough. Do not need to write a paragraph to answer a simple question.

Yes.
As long as it’s coherent and applicable it doesn’t bother me that much.

That's like asking if short ask a question posts bother people. Most of the time, short to the point answers are all that's necessary.

I do not see what the difference if the answer is long or short. I look at it that if they answer that is what is important to me.

There are discussions here that requires only short answers. But there are discussions here that needs thorough exchange of ideas and lengthy responses. But there are those who would just reposed for the heck of it without understanding the discussion, thus resulting in short nonsense response.

Yeah. I know what you mean... Some discussions ask for something more.

Sometimes, for example like me who enjoy posting my poetry. Usually, all I get is just a simple appreciation and all I can reply to that is just a "Thank You". I will earn or not with that little it matters to me...
