Wooden furniture: Do you have any in your house?

I think the furniture made of wood are fantastic!
Besides they have a natural and indivual beauty, their quality is very prolonged (which makes those who purchase them spend long years without needing to renovate the style of the house, haha).
The problem is: They're quite expensive and sometimes, more expensive than we can imagine. However, my parents have some of them here at home (which they have been buying over the years).

We dont have furniture, we sit in the plastic floor and the walls are like pillows, our jackets have straps.

my house 'tis filled with wood 'n i'd not've 't any other way. none 'f such'd be new, mind ya. dumpster finds, hand-me-o'ers 'n schtuff built from ol' wood. i love the look 'n feel 'f wood. don't like't painted 'n'll strip any that crosses my threshold that's such.
they don't build furniture to last these days. too many fickle folks who change their mind with the trends i reckon? my dinin' room table'n chairs'd be nearly 80yrs young. love e'ery nick, scratch 'n groove :)

we have a dinner table and chairs made of wood and I have a dresser made of wood that I bought at a thrift furniture store. you're right, it can be expensive so I try to buy thrifted if possible

I think most of our furniture would be wooden as that was what was available when we were buying furniture.
