There are as many brands as there are flowers in this world is what I realised when I was surfing to know the type of brands that exist. Honey is a part of our diet and has been that way for several years. Honey mixed in hot milk is what I have every night. What is important is that one should be able to identify pure honey and that I am good at. We have just changed our brand as the brand that we used for so many years did market honey that was not pure, of late.
Here are some easy home tricks to check its purity and ways to spot adulterated honey.

The sure way to know it is pure is to buy it locally harvested. The amish here sell it.

Most of the popular brands sold in big supermarkets are adulterated. The easiest test "if it's cheap, it's not pure". I buy at a local bees farm, their bees are often in my garden.

@allknowing It is the same for the extra virgin olive oil, no need to test, if it's cheap it's not pure.

I have not had honey in ages. I am not too much into sweet things and even drink my tea with nothing sweet added.
