Hey has anybody seen my emu?

People in a nearby county have been stunned by seeing a loose emu in the area. Animal Control has been trying to catch it since Weds. As you know they are not native to this part of the world. Apparently, it seems like the emu's owner has not stepped forward, because no one has claimed it. Apparently, one was on the lose in PA for a week! This was a different case..

Some people do raise them here. You seem them in pastures every so often.

They would have to catch him first, and from what I have heard he is quite elusive.

It seems really astounding no one has claimed him..Maybe the owners are away, or maybe they decided he was too much trouble..

Maybe, or maybe he is just thrilled to have a taste of freedom. I just hope it doesn't get hit by a car. I am sure animal control will be after it all day though.
