Have you ever had a repetitive strain injury?

One of my friends who works with telemarketing is recovering from a repetitive strain injury in her hand.
She says the amount of hours worked daily is extensive and the movements are very repetitive (this makes it easier for the injury to happen).
Have you ever had or know someone who has suffered from it?

If someone has an injury that never healed then it will bother them over and over again and if they over use it it will bother them too.

She should get herself a hand brace or compression type glove. She doesn't have to wear it all the time, but when she gets this injury, a compression glove might help.
My wrist aches sometimes. I put ice on it. I am trying to be careful with it.

I had to change my job when I developed RSI. I used to work for a local newspaper spending hours each day typing stories into a word processor. My thumb became painful from repeated hits to the space key.

My mum was working a desk job and had to use a hand support bandage regularly because of a repetitive strain injury from constantly sitting at a desk using a computer.
