Hello everyone. Recently, I just tried making some ice cream. I do not have ice cream maker so I just mix the ingredients and mix. And I am so happy the way it turned out. My daughter said I am crazy when I told her I made ice cream because she thought it is hard to make an ice cream. But I placed it in our table after it was frozen, her eyes twinkled. She said it was delicious. And yes it was. So what flavor can I do next.

Vanilla, strawberry, chocolate chip, pistachio... I could go on.. Mint, butter pecan... We have an ice cream maker here somewhere. I've thought of trying the technique of using ice and rock salt and mixing and mixing like you have done.

Ohhhh - that's my daughter's favorite flavor! I would think with that same base you could literally create any flavor - lots of possibilities! My personal favorite would be pistachio !

Before I thought that this task is impossible. If I have known this, I should have done lots and lots of ice cream a long time ago

It's not hard at all to make an ice cream. If you do not have the machine, you get it out time by time from the freezer and mix with a spatula. I often make ice cream at home, also frozen yogurt.

@rakski It's better than the ice cream you buy, there are no preservatives in what we make at home, unless you add ingredients that are not home made.

I didn't know it could be made without the contraption made just for that. I'd go for mint, chocolate chip if you want to share some.
