I Need Something To Talk About

Happy Monday Everyone!
I'm at a loss for something to talk about this morning.
I could talk about coffee...
I could talk about still trying to shake this cold (or bronchitis)...
I could talk about all the snow we got...
But,
That's all I seem to talk about for days now and I'm sure you're as sick of hearing about it as I am whining about it.
Maybe my best bet is to just enjoy my coffee and see what's happening here. I"m sure there's more exciting things around the myLot world to talk about.

So sorry you may have bronchitis. You may need and antibiotic or wind up with pneumonia.
Just returned from tennis and relaxing with a nice cup of coffee. Have laundry to do and wait for my son to land safely from Nairobi this afternoon. Only then can I carry on with my day.

Hope all goes well with your son and his trip home from Nairobi. How many hours is the flight?

@DianneN it certainly does sound like it would make your head spin. Sounds like good news that Bobby will be medically transported to NY this week

@Marilynda1225 Thank you. All I know is that it was 8 hours to Amsterdam. He went with his brother-in-law's girlfriend, but they each took a different jet back to NYC. He's due in around 1:15 today and will text me when he lands. He wants to get back to his office tomorrow, so changed his flight to the tune of $300 for the change. His wife, her brother, and her sister will fly home on Wednesday on the commercial flight they had scheduled. The in-laws will fly in a medical jet on Wednesday, too. So much going on that my head is spinning.

I know how you feel. I get like that when I haven't been out and about much from sickness.
I just finished making my lunch for work.
I am working a short shift today from 11 until 6 this evening. I like a later start, it gives me a little more relax time in the mornings, and hopefully the roads won't be so snow-packed now that rush hour is over.

Get to work safely and hope the day flies by for you.
Yes, I'm so tired of being sick and stuck in the house.

@Marilynda1225 Thanks, I had a good day, although it flew by.
This is how I'm aging, time is flying.
And I had a good day as well today, which is always a plus.
I hope that you did as well and find yourself growing a little strong every day.

@Marilynda1225 It can help with creativity to read other people's discussions too. I often come up with ideas for posts after reading other peoples posts.

Do you have any plans for this month, or summer? Or even Easter plans?
A funny memory from when you were a kid, or when your children were.. something you did in the past that you wish you stuck with, or something you wish you had tried..

I remember you suggesting that but I forgot to tell my daughter to pick some up when she was at the store. If she goes out later I'll have her get some.
Thanks for the reminder

@Marilynda1225 I was not at all well yesterday, not sick, but lazy and depressed. I feel a lot better today. I hope your cough goes away. It's horrible to stay awake because of this.

I'm tired of being sick and can't seem to shake this cough. It keeps me awake at night and then I'm tired all day. I feel as if all I'm doing lately is whining and complaining.

@Marilynda1225 I had to take something to break up mucus last year to be able to stop coughing. That is the worst when you cant sleep.

When I can't think of anything interesting to write I look through my photos, pick one and write about what is in the photo...give it a try, you will be surprised how easy a photo tells a story. Let me know if you try it and enjoy it.....

Hope you shake that cold.....bronchial colds tend to linger this time of year.
I'm sitting here working on a quilt....watching the snow fall.

Did you have a lot of snow this winter? I seem to be whining about snow all the time lately.

@Marilynda1225 we've had snow on the ground since November. We've not had major dumps like some other areas, but it just hasn't warmed up long enough to melt the stuff we have.
The snow here is so much cleaner than the snow in southern Ontario.

I am sorry about the bronchitis not leaving it. I always wondered when I got it if it would leave me and it took forever for it to do it. That was fine what you shared with us.
