2019 Health Journey -- Day 63 (March 4th)

I did stick to eating low carb today....but not sure it was the greatest day food/health wise. I did wake up with a high fasting number (199) but I expected that. For my first "meal" I had the rest of my homemade jerky (I used less than a pound of steak to make it). I also had a string cheese stick. So very low carb...but not sure the exact macros on the jerky. Blood sugar: 130 For the next meal I had some trout that was caught by my grandpa....so not something that was bought from the store. It was tossed in some flour, so the were some carbs (not sure the exact amount). I am guessing the flour raised my sugar too, unfortunately. It was at 152, two hours after this meal. I didn't know what to eat for my last meal...because I need to go grocery shopping. I do have some meat frozen, but didn't feel like defrosting it and then having to cook it. So instead I just had my peanut butter/butter mixture. Blood sugar after was down to 78. Not sure I will be eating anything else....don't really plan to. Didn't track my macros today. I didn't get my work out in either because the day got really busy. How did you all do?

Just shouldn't have had the flour on the fish, but did the best I could! And that's good that you did :)

The freshly caught trout sounds nice! I don't really eat fish that often. What did you have it with and how did you prepare it?

I have fish a lot lol, but usually tuna or salmon. I only ate salmon. My family had fried potatoes though
