Please! Please! My Lotters, Don’t change your profile picture :D :D (Don’t take it seriously)

Do you find it difficult to identify a person when he/she canges his/her profile picture?
For me, your profile picture is your identity and when I receive a new response from you with a new profile picture, I think it is someone completely new.
I feel embarrassed to accept that I tend to look at the picture and not the name. That is my instinct, I can say. When I try to look at their profile to see who the person is, I realise, he/she is one of my old friends here.
Generally, when I see a response from someone for the first time, I check that person’s profile. I like to know the people who respond to my discussions.
Via this post, I don’t want to discourage anyone from changing profile pictures. I am just sharing my feelings.

I fully agree with you. I can memorize very well the avatar, but I only remember a few names, those of myLotters that I know for long time. There are users who change both their avatar and their name, this is the worst. I never change my avatar, I like it.

@Sheali haha! It does spin me out a little when someone has changed their profile picture but I do pretty well knowing who it is by name. I've been here for a long time now and used to a lot of people's names.

I don't change my profile picture very often but, when I do, it's usually an owl because 'ullu' is my nature - somewhat foolish and simple on the surface but with (I hope) some wisdom underneath. I also change my screen name from time to time but most people who have been here know me as 'Owlwings' or 'Owl' regardless.
