I know snopes said its a hoax but the scary videos on Youtube does exist and the whats app number does exist. If you are an adult and you try to contact momo's number, she will not contact you. Some adults gets to get contacted because they use childhood photos or they are baby faced like me. I am 33 but I look underage so she called me via video call and all I see is a video of the statue got manipulated to look animated. Then she told me my location. After that she send me pictures of corpses from crime scenes. Then gave me death threats. I dont think its a person, it is just a bot. Only a gullible person will commit suicide from this. She sent me a video of the statue singing with a child voice saying she is gonna kill me. So cute. Speaking of Momo, the creator of the momo statue was upset his artwork is used for scaring kids so he destroyed it.
MOMO has terrified children across the globe but the artist who created it said it has been destroyed. Keisuke Aiso has said he feels “responsible” for scari...

The real name is mother bird, people just decided to call her momo which is Japanese word for peach and usually a name of adorably cute girls.

I just told my kids you took the challenge (they know about it and wouldn't fall for it). Good to hear first hand how it goes . . . yah, I would think a sensible person would never fall for it - but it's terrible it preys on young kids who could be very gullible. I didn't know a Japanese dude created it, but I sure wouldn't want my creation to go viral in a bad way and be tied to any deaths - I'd feel more than guilty - so I'm glad he destroyed it.

The only way to win this so called challenge to replace your sim or not do at all since being spammed with murder victim pictures is irritating.

i read through the responses and comments. that was clever of you to turn the tables and challenge momo and prove it's actually a bot (automated). too bad you have to change your sim. hope you were able to save your contact list so you can let people know your new number.

I have to change sims because I do not want to see more pictures of actual corpses which this bot will keep spamming you.

Children in the Philippines would easily get afraid of that bot called "momo" because momo here means a ghost or a frightening evil creature. Too sad for the artist who created it!

Actually he had it destroyed because it was starting to rot. The sculpture was never made to last. He never mentioned the challenge nor would he have ever referred to the sculpture as MoMo because that was not it's name.

The real name is mother bird. Momo means peach. It is usually a nickname for rosy cheeks Japanese girls
