It's National Oreo Cookie Day

We can all thank a grocery store in Hoboken, New Jersey for introducing the Oreo cookie to the public back on March 6, 1912. Originally there was the creme type and a lemon meringue flavor that they quickly did away with. It wasn't until 1980 that the manufacturers made the Big Stuf variety of the Oreo. Now they have some seasonal flavors.
Do you dunk, twist or eat yours whole?

I dunk them in coffee when I do eat them. That sounds like a good treat for the weekend.

You are right about the different seasons cookies. All the same just different dye used. They aren't a favorite of mine either.
