Delayed flight

Im going home to visit. My flight was supposed to take off at 7am. I arrived at the airport 5:30am. As I'm in the security line I get a text that my flight has a 2hr delay. So my flight will take off at 9am. Well its only 7:30am. Im tired and a little annoyed because I was in perfect timing for the original flight time. But its all good, better early than running late.
