2019 Health Journey -- Day 66 (3/7/19)

The day started out fine, but then the rest....not so much. FBS: 106, best in a while... Meal 1: deli chicken lunch meat 2 string cheese sticks Snack: 1 rolo (about 4 carbs) Meal 2: Chicken patty handful of potato rounds some m&m's Meal 3: Finger steaks & fries A little more candy Yeah....had another cheat day...ended up doing that because my husband wanted to have a date night. I know I am going to have 1 more this month (the day my mom and I go shopping because we are out all day)….but I need to promise myself no more (at least till April's shopping day). I didn't check my sugar....except for the fasting one today. How did you all do today? Hopefully made better choices than me (if you need to).

I did better, veggie soup for breakfast, veggie chili for lunch and fish for dinner, however, I did have an ice cream sandwich for dessert.

I feel like the fries in the photo are calling me.. lol. Sorry you cheated again.. starting to get worried that you cant stop, at the moment.

I can understand that, they were delicious! Thank you...it is not your fault! I am not going to make myself worry about it till after shopping day on Tuesday but then I am getting back to my diet and not going to have anymore cheats the rest of March.

@Courtlynn I know I will be able to, I just needed to be able to go shopping to get more low carb groceries. And with knowing we would be going out to Olive Garden tomorrow, I might as well just enjoy a few days lol

I cheated also. I stopped for some fried chicken, at our grocery store deli department. Along with this, I had broasted potatoes, and cole slaw. For dessert? TWO almond-butter cookies!

@MommyOfEli2013 Whenever I include chicken in a meal, I feel good about it. Chicken is such a good source of protein.

Well we are not perfect, and sometimes we cheat. Sounds like tasty food though!

Sometimes you need a cheat day! Yesterday I had ate way too much bread. Cheese toasties for lunch oops, but was good otherwise. I felt really ill today and really overslept so haven't eaten yet even though it's past noon!

Well health wise I really don't haha, but mentally yes. Not sure what cheese toasties are....but if you enjoyed then that's what matters!

I did good today with my meals We had soup for breakfast. ( I know very strange)' Nothing for lunch and than an early supper of chicken strips and mashed potatoes.

Well no one says you have to have "breakfast" foods for breakfast lol! Chicken strips and mashed potatoes sound good!
