Just in no mood to post here

I am normally not a moody person but after I lost Preiti it is not the same for me any more.
I miss her tantrums when she saw me here She did not like me being here but wanted to sit with her
I wrote so many happy discussions about her and now there is a void.
The thought what could have gone wrong with her, taunts me. She was such a happy dog, always on alert, always wanting to spend time with us, picking up a ball from the collection wanting us to play with her, running with the duster hoping we would chase her, chasing cats she was not used to, knew when the courier arrived when I received a call and I said "I am coming"
Preiti has left behind beautiful memories and I hope I can survive on them
Nice to watch Preiti demanding her food Preiti starved for days and then suddenly she would demand and that made us happy

Of our pets she was the only one that did not suffer.

@allknowing You loved her so much that it is a great relief you did not see her suffer.

I missed this post, dear friend. You have made Preiti part of out lives too. And just as I still have my memories of Misty which I recall now after I finished my long mourning, you will too. She is running happy at a dog´s Paradise where my Misty is

Today the coconut guy had come to pluck our neighbour's coconuts. Some fall into our compound and so we always keep Preiti inside I almost asked my maid to do it and then remembered.

@allknowing That is understandable. My husband called Kitty for a couple of mornings after we lost her. Then remembered that she wasnt in bed with me.

Pets always cling to us and that makes it difficult.

I know you miss her but I also know you must keep an open mind and she is with you in spirit. When my first cat passed on many years ago I was very upset. But then I felt her even going by my legs like she used to do and that made me happy. I saw her shadow once or twice and heard her thump coming in through the window. I was like she wanted to be sure we would be alright without her. Several months later I could not go on without a cat and we adopted Sid who is with me still. After that, she came about once and realized we had moved on and we would always remember her but we were alright so she stopped coming. It is a hard thing to explain if you have not felt it and I sure hope you will because that is a great comfort. At least you also have videos I \have her on some too. Virtual hugs.

Preiti is in my thoughts but I do not feel her presence around me although I miss her around as she was so much in our life.
Thanks for your input

Time does diffuse
Also there was no point for her to live on as she had become skin and bone and collapsing that is not something anyone would want to survive for.
