Over 100 people locked out of their cars at the same time....

Perth, Australia
March 9, 2019 1:29am CST
When I woke up this morning, my dad told me that there were over 100 people locked out of their cars yesterday at the same time in a suburb near me. My dad and his girlfriend jokingly said it was probably aliens to which I got excited about lol I looked up our news online and I've attached it here in case anyone would like to check it out but basically like I said above, over 100 people were unable to get into their cars, unable to lock their cars or weren't able to even start their cars. The possible reason was due to a nearby doorbell ( ) or nearby internet router that was causing interference. Was also suggested a hacker could have done this. I admit, I'm not a very technical person but aliens seem more likely than whatever bull crap they are talking about. No, I really don't know. I've never heard about this happening before and I am curious to know how something like this could have happened. Investigators are trying to find the reason for all of this and if it was a person or group of people doing this on purpose then they will be charged. Have you ever heard about this happening before where you live or have any idea how it could have happened?
Dozens of Perth drivers with keyless entry cars have been locked out of their vehicles at Lakeside Joondalu...

I love this and I am going to send the link to a friend who told me that this is something that "could never happen". I do not want a keyless car and I do not want a keyless entry door.

@VivaLaDani13 It's time we stop fighting the truth and acknowledge their existence and welcome them to our planet.

All joke's aside, it messed with people's routine. Hoping they find the cause soon and the car companies would take heed of the issue to correct the problem in future models.

@Daljinder Exactly. I was also worried if anyone left a baby or dog inside. Would have to smash a window if it was really hot. Hopefully nothing like that happened. Apparently it was due to a pharmacy nearby. They have those ...whatever they are called. Beepers? To let people know their medicines are ready to be picked up. Apparently it was because of those.

@Daljinder I would never do that even if I was going inside a store for 2 minutes. I'd rather keep the dog at home and take baby inside with me.

@VivaLaDani13 Good decision! That is how it should be. However, irresponsibility and carelessness in people do lead to incidents like that.

That is why I do not like tech stuff controlling so much of life.

@JohnRoberts I feel the same way as you. I'm not exactly thrilled with all this technology coming out that makes us lazier or makes us feel like we can't do things for ourselves. Also gives people more advantage to steal personal information and money.

@JohnRoberts Yep those too! Also one thing that really gets me is there will be robots who will give people blood tests instead of a real human nurse doing it. I would rather poor water on the robot than have it try take blood out of my veins!

@VivaLaDani13 And now driverless cars which have already been proven dangerous.

@MissNikki Me either. Apparently it was due to these beepers or something in the pharmacy that was near by.

@VivaLaDani13 It's actually kind of creepy because they could control other things or cause car accidents ... eeek!

@amitkokiladitya Yes it is true. My brother was one of them. The buttons wouldn't work to open any cars. It was weird.

@amitkokiladitya It's not but as far as I have learned, there are chips in the devices which can then have interference with other devices.

@VivaLaDani13 but how is this possible. These buttons are definitely not controlled by internet.

Technology cuts both ways. Obviously, s simple software bug interfering with the lives of many. Aliens are not involved but maybe monitoring us. I get a feeling we are being watched - siva

@Shiva49 All jokes aside, I'm not really thinking it was aliens but I love reading / watching things to do with them. I'm sure this was all a simple thing like you suggested. I get the feeling we are being watched too. I'm on the fence on whether or not Aliens are real but I have seen a lot of weird things in the sky at night with my telescope!

A similar issue came to light in Canada earlier this winter. It was narrowed down to a certain area where people park, their remote start would not work and their cars would not start at all if shut off in that area. Strange world that we live in.....
