Some years ago I was separated from a boyfriend and then great friend due to some other people’s errors and control tactics.
For quite awhile I was trying to get in contact with him to no avail till last April. We talked on the phone a lot, neither of us had cars and we lived far apart.
Then all of the sudden I stopped hearing from him. About 2 months ago his brother called me and told me that he had gotten very sick which caused him to die I have not been able to really grieve because of the small living quarters that I am in
His brother said that when his grave marker comes in and is placed in the ground he will come take me to the cemetery, so that’s what we did today.
I was glad to be able to go there, but the reality hit me hard! Not that I did not love my husband and grateful for our 10 years we had together. And grateful for our daughter, I am angry for the time I missed with this person because of other peoples errors and control!

@dfollin no other way but yes... grieve and explain to your husband why you have to grieve.

sorry dear. sometimes what is real and true hits harder. Being truthful to yourself made things better.
