I have always identified as a dog person. The all natural Pit Bull is, in my opinion, the perfect specimen. My hubby and I would argue because he said he'd never own one. Until we had to take his mothers in. Never say never, right. She's behaved just right to encourage my husband's love. For almost ten years she was his road dog and a goof for me. Until she fell ill and the vet told us there wasn't much that could be done. We took her home and watched her struggle. When she passed we made each other a promise that one day we would have another. We are not going to deny ourselves the companionship and love nor are we going to deny a needing soul. A year went by and Stray calico we just called Puss wanders onto our block. She decides my husband shed is the best place to introduce her new litter of tomcats to the world. We ended up having two of them neutered. Puss practically presented one of them to me and refused to feed him. So, now to see me with them you would never know I'm a huge advocate if the Pit. They are just so stinking precious. One wags his tail like Like my golden retriever, and the other eats more food than My golden retriever. Our vet has said that they have done the study's on the Orange tomcat, that shows they are the best transition cats for dog lovers. That just goes to show you can teach an old dog new tricks. Or Cats.
