What Has Been The Most Infuriating Experience For You On The Job?

Don't we all just wish that we can have the perfect, nice and pleasant customers or employers for our jobs? Unfortunately that rarely is the case!
It's always a trade-off. When you get to enjoy nice employers, you would have really rude and inconsiderate customers. When you have good customers, it's the managers that are unreasonable.
I have a few friends who have been working since when they are in their early-teens, but just because they look young, their 5-year experience barely accounts for anything when the customers look at them!
"I don't want this young boy here to work on my stuff. Get me someone more experienced!" They would say.
The boss would just take a look at the customer and go, "This 'young boy' here has 5 years of experience and is at the very least on par with my skills. Your stuff is in good hands." and the customers would be stunned silent.
Have you ever been undermined at work for one reason or another?

@nicki123tw so many situations i encountered before. Like they want you to release the document right now when the company should be given at least three days to do so because of the needed signatures and so on

I'm glad you think so! A lot of people refuse to believe in the junior staff's skills, even when the work results are proving otherwise :( Hopefully this will no longer be a problem one day.

I think I have. As the team leader, I have attended a meeting back when I was still on my previous job. It was very far from the office. Everyone was saying oh you’re too young, we are all your seniors here / why did you come alone? / How did you get here on your own? / how will you get home?
All because I look young for my age. Really I just smiled at them, I said I can manage. On my mind, I was saying to myself “I wouldn’t even be here if I wasn’t qualified”
I was just a bit annoyed but I didn’t think of it too much. I was there to do what I have to do. None of what they say should matter.

Yikes! It appears that my friend was not the only one who received that sort of treatment. Yes, they don't matter - we should be confident in our own skills and that's enough :)

Sometimes the people you worked with is ok but the problem is your boss.
