I do not know if I have food poisoning, or I caught the bug all seem to be getting. Maybe I had really strong resistance and it took a few days. After posting last night, and getting the ginger ale out, before I drank any, I threw up. Or puked Or vomited. I have not had this situation in about eighteen years. It was a bug then, caught at the school where I was working. I slept on an empty stomach. I feel like I have been beaten, from the bottoms of my feet to the top of my head. Hopefully it goes away soon. On a different note, Bob Olson (@Webeishere ) is at the hospital, being prepped to remove a large part of his cancerous lung. He, and his family, would appreciate prayers.

I hope you've had a really good rest and 'detoxing'your stomach after you threw up. Drink water, 8 to ten glasses, for at least 24 hours. I hope you feel better soon. Is Bob Olson in myLot? I will be thinking of him after I post this comment. Thanks.

It was bad, but I am on the mend. I see on FB where he is out of surgery and in some pain but breathing pretty well.

The last time I threw up it was due to kidney stones, but you know immediately due to the pain.

I am fortunate, so far not to have kidney issues. I did have that, not stones, but an undetected infection. Before I got any care I was throwing up blood.

@GardenGerty I had very small stones, more similar to sand than stone, it was so painful.

Bob Olson came through surgery well. They removed the chest drainage tube last night. I think I have "food poisoning" or had, I should say.

The few times I've had food poisoning, I could tell by the aftertaste what it was that caused it. How are you feeling today?

My stomach was better, but I had the body aches typical of influenza. I had no fever or respiratory problems. I would say I am at about 85% right now and tomorrow should be better.

Bob Olsen is much better. I only had the throwing up until I had nothing left and not the other. I sure felt awful the next day though.

That sounds terrible! I hope you feel better soon. Throwing up is the worst! Not being sick like that for the last 18 years is amazing though you must have a great immune system!

In general, I do. As a kid, I got sick at least once this way from Thanksgiving to New Years. When I left home it quit happening. Either the food was too rich at holidays or it was not put away well. At one of my jobs I would feel " a little uncomfortable" and work anyway, then my co workers would be ill for three days at a time.

Fredo, I believe he was before your time. He was in the very original myLot, but eventually went on to other things. He became my personal friend because he lives near my daughter. He was very much loved here, though, just like you are.
